Experiments

Test one change at a time and measure whether it actually works for you.

Health advice is everywhere — but your body is unique. Experiments let you test changes systematically instead of guessing.

How It Works

  1. Start an experiment during any check-in. Give it a title like "Magnesium before bed for 7 days."
  2. Set a reminder so you remember to evaluate it (defaults to 7 days).
  3. Link check-ins along the way as progress updates.
  4. Complete it when you're ready — record whether you learned something and what the result was.

What Gets Tracked

Each experiment captures:

  • Your baseline score at the start
  • Update check-ins throughout the experiment period
  • Your completion score at the end
  • A results summary in your own words
  • Whether you learned something (yes/no)

Why One Variable at a Time

If you change three things at once, you won't know which one helped (or hurt). Experiments encourage you to isolate one change and give it enough time to show an effect.

Building a Personal Evidence Base

Over time, your completed experiments form a library of things you've actually tested — not just read about. This is your personal evidence base for what works and what doesn't.

Export Your Findings

Experiments are included in PDF and CSV exports, complete with linked check-in data. Share them with your doctor, nutritionist, or keep them for your own reference.
